finally be grasped. protecting America from what it finds "threatening" is
like protecting the Great STrumpet from racial slurs. "our" troops are not
protecting anyone from anything. that's not the business our country is in.
when one bullies people, some of them are bound to act out in violent,
antisocial ways. you bully enough people and one of them will eventually
try to blow you up. this generally results in weapons sales, but it doesn't
make terror go away.
